Grand Mark Quarterly Communication

12th March 2013

The Pro G.M., M.W. Bro Benjamin Addy presided at this, the first quarterly commumincation to be held at Gt Queen St, the home of the Craft. Our own Grand Lodge at 86 St James being unable to accomodate the ever increasing numbers now attending out Grand Lodge meetings.

The PGM was pleased to be accompanied by 15 members from West Lancashire, who also dined in the Connaught rooms. (very tasty !).

The event finished by 7.30pm, enabling all to catch their trains home in comfort.

The next meeting of Mark Grand Lodge is the Annual Investiture on Tuesday 11th June. This is expected to be a sellout and brethren intending to go are advised to make application IMMEDIATELY the forms are issued.

If you are not a Grand Officer, but would like to come, then either ask to be put on the form of a Grand Officer known to you, or advise the secretariat. You will be most welcome, to support the 16 members of West Lancs receiving Grand honours, hopefully from the M.W. G.M. HRH Prince Michael of Kent, GCVO.

The Menu consisted of Veloute of Artichoke, Confit of Duck with a melange of vegetables and Bread and Butter Pudding, Coffee and Wine

The Photographs above show some of the West Lancashire Brethren at diner, although there was some doubt as to whether the P.G.M. had been caught out later, paying the "wages due" to Provincial Secretary Geof Lee G.J.D. as the photograph seems to show or was he just congratulating him for his services to the Province. Either way both seem to be enjoying the occasion.
